It was a celebration of great Queen Victoria which began with a leisurely cycle on my fixed-gear, candy-apple red, to those majestic Niagara Falls. On the way, there were beautiful flowers that, try as I might, I couldn’t not capture (and really drink in that word “capture”) using the art of photography. I pulled myself away, I forced the front wheel of my bicycle in another direction, but I couldn’t stop myself from dismounting and clicking these precious frames.
Let us build a water molecule structure to praise that which falls thunderously over a cliff onto the krag below. And in a hallelujah celebration, the mist rises to the heavens to meet their sister, the clouds. Let us send fire to join them in glorious explosions of sparks and smoke.
I was learning how to use shutter speed… and I’m not particularly good at taking pictures of fireworks.
